Этот крипто-вымогатель шифрует данные пользователей и серверов с помощью AES, а затем требует выкуп в # BTC, чтобы вернуть файлы. Оригинальное название: не указано. На файле написано: frost.exe и Shiva.

Этимология названия:
➤ Модификация позволила вымогателям создать ложную идентификацию для ID Ransomware. По названию записки он показывает на Crypt0L0cker, по ошибке с расширением указывает на PGPSnippet, но расширение .good летом использовали в Scarab-Horsia, по содержанию записки это также близко к Scarab-Horsia. Потому не имея образца я назвал это вымогательство Mimicry.
➤ Сами вымогатели не определились с названием, написав на файле "frost", а в описание вставили слово "Shiva".
➤ Для идентификации в сервисе ID Ransomware было выбрано составное слово ShivaGood, чтобы отличаться от другого вымогателя, использующего это слово.
К зашифрованным файлам добавляется расширение: .good
Внимание! Новые расширения, email и тексты о выкупе можно найти в конце статьи, в обновлениях. Там могут быть различия с первоначальным вариантом. Активность этого крипто-вымогателя пришлась на конец августа - начало сентября 2018 г. Ориентирован на англоязычных пользователей, что не мешает распространять его по всему миру.
